About Me        

 

       Terence D. Berrigan, Owner, has over twenty-five years of working experience in the accounting field for government, hotel, corporate and non-profit organizations. Mr. Berrigan demonstrates excellent impersonal skills, uses American Sign Language and written English skills.

         Before founding Berrigan’s Tax & Bookkeeping Service, Mr. Berrigan worked as ARAMARK Controller at Gallaudet University Kellogg Conference Center (GUKCC) where he was responsible for accounting operations. Prior to working at GUKCC, Mr. Berrigan was with Sign Language Associates as a Director of Accounting Services. Before that, as a Business Manager/Office Supervisor at Telecommunications for the Deaf, Inc. and as an Assistant to Executive Director for Business Affairs at National Association of the Deaf, both non-profit organizations serving the needs of the nation-wide deaf community in the field of telecommunications and advocacy.

               He has also provided on-going financial work and consulting service to individuals, organizations and small businesses. Mr. Berrigan received his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Gallaudet University in addition to numerous training certificates and athletic awards. He has also served as the board member treasurer and financial committee chairman on various non-profit organizations.

            He graduated from St. Mary’s School for the Deaf - Buffalo, NY and received Bachelor of Science degree from Gallaudet University. In addition, he also received various business/training certificates and athletic awards. He currently resides in Frederick, MD with his wife, Sheryl (nee Bieniak, ‘77 NTID) and raises four children; Krystle (22), Diana (21), Kevin (18) and Danielle (17).
